Three days travel in Qinghai province

Day 1 Xining Arrival

Place: Dongguan Mosque and Taer Monastery

When you arrive at Xining airport, We will pick you up and send you to the hotel

first. Then after a little rest, you would go to the Dongguan Mosque. It's the

biggest mosque in Qinghai Province. It boasts a history of more than 600 years. The

Mosque is not only famous for its magnificent architecture but also as a religious

education center and as the highest learning institution of Islam.

Day 2  Qinghai lake

Qinghai lake is about 200km away from xining.

The best time to hiking in Qinghai lake is in Summer due to the humid and warm

weather. If you want to see the birds, then May will be the best time when the birds

are just back for return migratory. As for the rape flowers, june and july will be

the best choices, while july and August will be the time for the grassland scenery.

We will spend a whole day around the QInghai lake, where you could stroll on the

grassland and enjoy the very local herdman's home.

Day 3,

Free time to hangout in the central of Xining and tranfer to the airport.

Four days trip in Qinghai province

Day 1,After a short rest in the hotel,we will tour to Ningshou Pagoda and the Great Mosque.

Day 2: Xining-Kumbum Monastery-Xining
We will drive to Ta'er monastery(Kumbum monastery) for a full day tour. Visit this famous Tibetan Buddhism Gelupa monastery, learn about 'three wonders of Ta'er Monastery'- butter sculptures, the barbolas, and the murals, visit Huangzhong county-the birthplace of Zongkapa, the sponsor of the Tibetan Buddhism Gelupa sect.

Day 3:  Xining-Qinghai Lake
Drive to Qinghai Lake after  breakfast, visit aixin Shan (Hill of the Sea Heart), Shadao (Sand Island) and Niaodao (Bird Island). That night we will stay on the grassland where you could stroll on the grassland in the evening

Day 4 Qinghai Lake (Then back to Xining)
In the morning, you could enjoy the great view which will be so unique and you will love it.

Four days in Gansu and Qinghai province

Day 1

Visit of Labrang monastery 3 PM Travel to Lhamo (Langmusi) at the crossroad between Gansu and Qinghai. Night in Lhamo

Day 2

Visit Lhamo, the Kirti Monastery and the famous cave, and take a hike to enjoy the stunning landscape. Afternoon, leave for Tsoe, visit the Tsoe Monastery, with its 9 story tower.
Night spent in Tsoe.

Day 3

Leave for Tongren
Have lunch in Tongren, and in the afternoon visit Rongwu Monastery and the Thangka painting village at Wutong Monastery, 10Km north of Rebkong leave for Xining. Night in Xining

Day 4

Visit Kumbum/ Taktser Village, birth place of the 14th Dalai Lama. Night in Xining
