My family and I (4 people) just came back from an amazing ten-day trip in Yunnan going to: Luoping, Bamei, Puzhehei, Jianshui, the rice terraces and more.

Axing was adorable and thoroughly professional, not only did she know each place perfectly from the attraction to the accommodations, she also knew "secret" places that most tourist wouldn't ever find. From the locals reaction in many of these places, we were the first foreigners they had met in quire sometime.

In addition, Axing was knowledgeable about each and every place we went, including the history and traditions of the fascinating indigenous minority people.

Axing also ensured we had a safe transportation and healthy food choices, important considerations in these travels.

We , 3 dutch people 60plus, travelled with Xing in Yunnan.She is a very good guide and she told us a lot about chinese culture.We travelled by public transport and sometimes by car, which is a real good concept. Xing perfectly understood how we like to travel and she booked lovely small local hotels. We can highly reccommand her, she is a star guide. I have just returned after a 9 day trip in Yunnan accompanied by A Xing. We started in Dali and travelled northwards to our final destination, the Melei snow mountain. The whole journey was a totally enjoyable experience all due to the hard work and planning by A Xing. She was very attentative to my needs and planned the trip so that it included the rich and diverse culture of the region but avoided the main tourist routes as per my request. She was kind and thoughtful and it was a real pleasure to travel with her. I learnt a great deal from her extensive knowledge of the ethnic groups living in Yunnan and we visited places I would never have found on my own. She was so patient when I kept wanting to stop and take photographs of the stunning scenery.

I had no worries throughout the whole trip A Xing had everything covered, good and flexible itinerary, accommodation, transport, suggestions of where to get good tasty local food etc. I had no complaints during the whole time I was with her.

If you are planning on travelling in Yunnan and want to get the most from your trip then I recommend A Xing as your travel guide / companion she helped me to experience an unforgettable time travelling in Yunnan province.

I can only second the positive reviews that have been posted about A. Xing! I spent a week in Yunnan province with A. Xing and she took up the challenge of taking to me areas where tourists do not normally go. This was greatly achieved, even in in one of the busiest tourist months.

As well as being a great guide, A. Xing is a very experienced Mandarin teacher and also a very talented musician/singer. She is very conscientious, patient and determined. Some parts of our hikes were quite tough but she kept going with no complaints.

This was my second visit to China but the first that I had travelled across a region. I would never have been able to navigate my way by bike, bus, taxi, train and other forms of 'local transport' without A. Xing.



I learnt so much about Chinese culture, history and ate great local food during our trip.

If I am ever in need of a guide in China again, I would have no hesitation in getting in contact with A. Xing.
