About Me

Hello, dear travellers! Welcome to Yunnan, the ethnique kingdom with beautiful nature land!

Borned and grew up in a village somewhere in the mountains in Dali, I was very lucky to go to university and had lots of fun there.  Since gratuation, I have been guiding in Yunnan over 11 years. It has been a very joyful job for me. I love everything life give me,every time the guests choose me,I feel they are my friend,I enjoy the time with them, different country, different culture, they always give me new idea of life,I love smile,I will smile until I dead, because I love life.

I like dancing and singing very much. I love children and I am very patient with older people.I feel they are my children and my parents,I feel so lovely with them.

Beside Dali, Lijiang,Shangri-La and Kunming, now I also offer tours to Rice Terrace Fields in Yuanyang (Ethnique Hani area), Red Land in Dongchuan (heaven for photogragh), Puzhehei and Bamei in Wenshan (Ethnique Miao area).

Wish to see you in this area, and enjoy some time with you. :)

Went with family and friends comprising of 10 people from Malaysia and Singapore. Tina was an outstanding all rounded guide. Not only was she able to communicate well in with us in English, her knowledge of the region and its system of governance was important in ensuring smooth traveling from one place to another. She was extremely patient in dealing with the group given that there was 4 elderly members, spending much time physically aiding them in maneuvering around.Additionally, she was vastly helpful and proactive in ensuring that we were well taken care off. For example, she went out of her way to purchase things like SIM cards as well as food items that were out of the conventional tourist locations. Being native herself, she was able to explain with much clarity, information of places, monuments, etc. Personality wise, she was a constantly cheerful and engaging. For those who love a good bargain, Tina has reached the mastery level in the art of negotiation. She was constantly ensuring that we did not overpay for things.
Ultimately, for those looking for an experience in Lijiang, look for Tina. Take it from me, a Singaporean - the fussiest people in the world. You will not regret it.

My colleagues and I had booked a trip to Yunnan from 21.6.13 to 26.6.13. Our group was fairly large and we require a 30 seater bus to take us around. We flew to Shangrila for a night, spent 2 nights in Lijiang and stayed a night in Kunming before leaving for home. We had engaged Jon from Synotrip guides but he had medical issues and recommended Tina to handle us. We are pleased with Tina. Handling a big group requires a lot of patience and that's what she has, always patient with us, helping out with our itinerary as we did adjust as we go along, take us on a guided tour base on our own itinerary, recommending restaurants, and always eager to show us the sights. Being a Bai minority herself makes her a natural when explaining the culture to us. She is dedicated to ensuring we have a good holiday and loves to sing, especially the folks songs. Singing and tour guiding comes naturally to her. All of us are very happy with her. If you plan to go to Shangrila, Lijiang or Dali, try to get her as your guide. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our holiday memorable, Tina, we wish you well. Read less

I have been to China in 2008,10,12 and i have enjoyed my trip on all ocassion. However my first trip ,the memories of which I hold dear to me was due to Tina on my visit to Lijiang .I was a member of a group of 14 from Jamaica, Trinidad,Europe and USA.We all to this day speak about what a wonderful guide Tina was.She was attentive, caring, knowledgeable and showed tremendous sensitivity to a group of such diverse set of persons. She was always on time and made sure our queries was always dealt with competently. She was fun loving and made our visits to all locations interesting with history of the culture and people .She became an integral part of our group and when we had to leave tears were shed. Tina made all the difference.Since my first visit to China I have been back two more times and so did many of the original group. The return has been due to that initial reception given by Tina.First impression has a lasting impression. My group always speak about Tina and I have no reservation in recommending her to any individual or group travelling to Lijiang which is such a beautiful and memorable place. If on your first visit to China make sure Lijiang and Tina and as your tour guide is a must .

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending five days with Tina and I can only say that she was the best!  Everything that she wrote about herself above is 100% true.  She is funny, charming, and just a very pleasure and enjoyable person to be around.  She was very very attentive to any needs that you may have or that arise during the total time that you spend with her. My best example was when I was having a "good old time" trying to get the fish meat off the bones, she moved across from me and started to pick the meat off the bone and putting it into a pile for me to eat!  Thankfully that saved my lunch and allowed me fully enjoy that great food and experience.  We have already recommended her to our friends and we look forward to spending time with her in the future.  Just a lovely all around person to be with and with extensive knowledge of the area, its history, and the many different minorities located in this region.  Andy  Miami Florida
