We have just finished our 6 days trip in Yunnan province ; Shangri-La , Lijiang and  Dali has been visited for a too short period of time.

Tina met us at Lijiang airport and led us to Kunming airport in a very professional way which was a performance taking into account the size of the group ( 19 people)  the peak season (August) and the discipline of the group (all French); and this always with its smile and its energetic and proactive attitude despite all inconvenience met on the way (traffic  jam, cancellation, ...)

She booked for us hotel and bus, paid entrance fees, helped us to choose our restaurant and this strictly fitting with our budget. She managed to answer to all our specific needs even if sometimes we due wait a little bit to know what happened.

We spent a wonderful time with her taking advantage of her personnel knowledge of China and clarified advice; some of my friends even emphasized the fact they understood her well.

In a word, such a lovable guide could only be recommended for her excellent services.

We landed in Kunming on May 1st 2015, and felt completely lost as it was 3 days of national vacation and no one in our hotel and surrounding hotels could speak English. We found Tina in the Synotrip web site and within a couple of hours she was in our hotel. We planed together our 3 week vacation in Yunan and Guiline. She has organized all our trip details, guided us in some days and provided a car and driver in others. As our budget was limited we have used also the night train to Dali and back from Lijang after visiting Shangrila. In addition we visited the stone forest, Western hills, rice terraces and many more beautiful and interesting sites such as Guilin and Shanjang.
Tina was always available and helped us a lot whenever communication with local people was difficult. Her prices were reasonable and much less than quotation we got from other tourist agencies. We are very thankful and recommend her services. We are sure you will not regret.

We found Tina online and contacted her because of her great reviews. As it turned out, Tina was far better than we expected and better than her reviews.

We organised Tina for a 1 day tour in around Lijiang and we had our 6 yo, plus his grandmother, so there was 4 of us with Tina.  We originally emailed Tina a list of things we wanted to do and see, plus we asked for her advice on what she would recommend.  Her recommendations were perfect as was her tour and her local knowledge.  Her English is good and she was very interactive with all of our family group members.

Tina was very responsive and informative by email and she met us at our hotel, on time, for the day tour.  Tina walked us through some of the local history, showed us through local villages, took us to local eateries and recommended us to local restaurants and shops.

Tina is a really nice person and we would most definitely contact her again for our next trip into Yunnan...

We decided to use Tina's service after reading such wonderful reviews from this site. Our decision was made right, as we arranged our flight details and after numerous e-mails, Tina arrived in Kunming airport picking us up, which this was in fact an added service, as we were only supposed to be picked up by the driver. We booked a 8 nights 9 days tours in Yunnan (Kunming, Dali, Shaxi, Shangrila & Lijiang) and we had the best time. We had the best private tour, skipping all those boring shopping time which other normal tour usually brought us to. The timing is flexible, as we had 2 young children with us (aged 3 and 5 yrs old). The van is comfortable, a 18-seats to only accommodate 9 of us, providing plenty of space for our big luggages. Tina is patient and able to cater to all our needs, and she is good with children too, as she is a mother herself. The hotels she recommended were mostly good, and we were quite satisfied, considering a reasonable budget that we have set. One commendation we would love to give is to the driver, never we meet such a kind, friendly driver who drive safely throughout the entire journey. One of our friend had altitude sickness in Shangrila, and Tina took care of him, buying him medicines to cure his illness. Even after we have left Yunnan, Tina still called us to ask for his condition. This is what we called genuine care. In conclusion, if you wish to travel in Yunnan on a private tour, using Tina's service is recommended, as the costs are lower, compared to booking them through a normal travel agent from home. You can save as much as 40%. Secondly, it is private, and we have the flexibility to agree on timing, skipping places we do not want to go, eat in restaurants we want to, of course Tina will provide her recommendation again on this. Thanks Tina for everything, we wish you all the best and will definitely recommend you to all our relatives or friends who wish to visit Yunnan.

It was a pleasure to have Tina as our guide. She took us to the Stone Forest and Jiuxiang Cave. We had a really wonderful time together. Tina was always very patient, very kind, and ready to provide us with everything we needed. We wanted to have a good local food outside the tourist area that is normally not very good and more expansive. She drove us to a local restaurant to experience food from the minority group Sani. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasteful, one of the best meal we had in China (almost 2 months traveling). She is very knowledgeable and get through paths with less tourists. She likes to take pictures and has given us some tips on where the best spot were. I strongly recommend Tina as your guide. I am Mr Low Kong Foo from Malaysia. My group of 33 have just returned from a wonderful, memorable n extremely joyous trip in Kunming, Dali and Lijiang. Oh, Tina is just marvellous. First, she has a great sense of humour and was very very patient. It wasnt easy to handle 33 people of two groups, from Kampar and Kuala Lumpur. Five people were missing and Tina tried her outmost to look for them. We felt very sorry for her. Tears almost drop from her eyes but she courageously held back and finally she got all the 33 together. Great Tina.She could sing very well and several of my members sang their hearts out inside the bus. Wonderful. She could present herself very well in chinese language and in English too. Anyone who hire this charming and pleasant Tina as tour guide will find his or her trip wonderful n joyous. I am bringing another group  of travelers next year in early november and surely I will hire her to be our guide again.
