I did a 2 Week tour with Sufi and had a delightful time. I travelled on my own and really did not know where or what to see. Left that all to Sufi. As a keen photographer I wanted to get some really special photos of Iran and thanks to Sufi this was achieved. Going to the popular places at the right time, avoiding the crowds and looking for those special spots to get the right pic. Sufi new them all. It was fun travelling with Sufi, choosing some interesting places to eat and see. Hotels were a challenge because of Ramadan but overall we managed to get some good accommodation which for me was important. Sufi is a very attentive guide, honest as the day and prepared to go the extra mile for you. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a tour guide and you will be safe in her hands. My husband found Sufi on Synotrip when we were planning a trip to Iran in late 2018 and I'm glad he did, as Sufi planned the most incredible private tour for us taking in key sights as well as a few cool off-the-beaten track spots on a two-week itinerary starting in Tehran and ending in Shiraz. We were lucky enough to stay with Sufi and her lovely husband Hadi for a few days in Tehran, where we enjoyed our first taste of the incredible hospitality that Iranians are famous for. Sufi - who speaks excellent English and also drives - took care of all the logistics (including booking our hotels and taking us to the best restaurants in each town), allowing us to kick back and enjoy the trip. As a professional travel writer I have been lucky to travel with some incredible guides around the world, and Sufi is up there with the best of them. If you are a gastronome like me, you’d definitely enjoy having Sufi as your tour guide, not only she is the best in her job, but she knows which Persian food in which restaurant cooked and served in its best way. I and my wife had an amazing eighteen-day tour with Sufi, and I can tell we enjoyed every moment of it, from enjoying tea in Masoule to our night in desert camp and the authentic nomad tour. I think it is because of her caring character as she always knew which site we wanted to know more about, which one was boring for us, when we were tired and needed rest and when we were energetic and wanted a long day. I couldn’t imagine that my trip to Iran where I heard and saw that has lack of tourism infrastructure goes this easy. One more thing she is so flexible and can organize any change you request, like adding a desert tour or a nomad tour. Thank you Sufi, for such a great tour. We were so lucky to have Sufi as our guide. Could not have asked for a better guide. She was very knowledgeable about Iranian history, culture and contemporary life and it was therefore not surprising that we found our visits to the different places of interests in Tehran very meaningful. What we liked about Sufi was her flexibility and spontaneity. We told her our general interests and some places we wanted to visit. Within a few hours of contacting her, she had drafted a two-day itinerary for us. We absolutely loved her plan. During the course of the trips, we wanted to make some changes to the plan. Sufi made it happen. She brought us to really good restaurants/eateries for lunch and dinner. During meals, she was very lively and shared her life experiences and the food culture in Iran. She was also humourous and that made our time with her really enjoyable. We wanted to head up the Alborz mountain range but we were not prepared in terms of clothing. Nonetheless, Sufi was our saviour. She borrowed jackets and gloves from her friends to lend us. She also shared some tips we should know as tourists in Iran - for example, where to best buy certain goods. Indeed we were truly blessed to have her as our guide. We were so impressed with her hospitality and service that we vow to be back in Iran and we hope to have her as our guide again! Read less

We were so lucky, our tour started from Tehran instead of Shiraz and we could have Sufi as our Tehran local guide. Her explanation about Iran and what’s going on in general and the information she gave us was so useful throughout the trip. Of course, she also has a broad knowledge of Persian history and in two days she showed us the most possible in the city. Upon a request of the group she helped us to go to world war Tehran cemetery to give our respect there. Sufi you were amazing, I hope there would be a chance to join you for a private tour. Sufi organised for us a two weeks round trip through the Iran with amazing sight seeing spots. The initial planning phase (via e-mail) was very trustworthy. Sufi was very responsive and did communicate to us. She prepared for us a tour plan and we would have had the opportunity to adjust it - but for us the plan was great. Arriving in Teheran Sufi was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly. The trip was very well organised and there was still certain flexibility (for example as we were so astonished by the Persepolis we wanted to go the other day again - and Sufi arranged everything for us accordingly). We could profit from Sufi's great knowledge about Iran's culture, history, music and much more. We enjoyed having interesting / inspiring conversations. She was very carrying and supportive when my partner need to go to Hospital in Iran. We greatly appreciated that. The accommodations were lovely and Sufi brought us to great places with delicious food. Great trip, and we highly recommend Sufi as tour guide :) Read less
