In April, 2015 My Mom and I took a 17 night North Asia cruise with Celebrity Millennium. The cruise embarked from Hong Kong, so we decided to spend a few days there pre-cruise. We contacted Jenny a couple of months in advance, and after a few emails, finalized an itinerary in which Jenny agreed to share her beautiful city with us:

Day 1 (April 8, 2015)

Jenny met us in our hotel lobby and we set out to see:

• The world's largest escalator
• Ladies market
• Chung King Mansions
• Star Ferry
• Victoria Peak and Tram
• Temple Street Market
• Symphony of Lights

Day 2 (April 9, 2015)

• Chi Lian Nunnery
• Nan Lian Garden
• Lantau Island, Big Buddha, ad Tai O Fishing Village

We had requested a truly local experience, so rather than renting a car, we traveled by bus, metro, ferry, and local taxis.

As our party included a senior - without asking her to -  Jenny made arrangements to our schedule to ensure that we had a few rest stops so my Mom would not be too exhausted by the day's end. Jenny's thoughtfulness was very much appreciated.

Jenny is a considerate, accommodating, punctual, and fun host.  She is also very knowledgeable and passionate about her city, so her excitement in sharing her city rubs off quickly.  If you have a chance to visit Hong Kong, and need someone to introduce you to the local sites and cuisine, you could not do better than Jenny.

When we adopted our daughter from Guangdong in February 2015, we had a free day and made a last-minute decision to visit our daughter's birth city of Shenzhen.  We preferred not to hire a guide affiliated with our adoption agency and wanted to find someone on our own who would let us plan exactly what we wanted to do.  With less than a 12-hour's notice, Jenny met up us at 8:00 a.m. sharp in our hotel lobby.  Our agenda was to visit places important to our daughter's life and learn about her history.  With nothing more than names of places, she and her driver figured out exactly where we needed to go. 

Jenny was an excellent guide.  She speaks great English, (with a slight New Zealand accent on certain words, which I found so endearing) but is also very friendly, outgoing and personable.  In addition to all the guiding and translating she did on my behalf, she was really interesting to talk to.  We spent a very long day together and having someone I connected with on a personal level made the trip that much more enjoyable. She was also wonderful with my daughter, who's three years old, and clearly liked children. 

I liked the driver Jenny works with.  He didn't speak any English, so my interactions with him were limited, but he was polite, helpful and a good driver. 

I really think we lucked out with Jenny as our guide.  I wish I had discovered her earlier in our trip because she was the best one we had.  We plan to return to China someday, and when we do, we'll probably end up planning our whole trip around Jenny's availability. 

Jenny was our guide in Hongkong for three days. We picked her  because of all the great reviews from her previous clients and I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. We mailed in advance, she put up an itinerary for every day, adjusted it according to our request and it was perfect. In addition to her professional skills as a perfect and knowledgeable guide she is such a positive personality, always smiling, always funny, always full of energy. 

We parted as friends, hopefully we will meet in Germany this autumn.

My boyfriend (Neil) and I traveled to Guangzhou, China from March 1st to March 17th 2015. It was bur first "trip" instead of vacationing on the beach, so we were a bit nervous! We traveled for 31 hours to get to China from our home in Ontario, Canada. I found Jenny on this website and I knew she would be the perfect guide for us. 

We traveled to Guangzhou mostly for business, starting our own speciality clothing line. Jenny set us up with a factory, and made sure everything was good to go before even arriving in China. She made things SO simple for us. We met with her the day after arriving in China. She picked us up with her driver, and took us to all of the factories that we wanted to go to. She spoke perfect English- it was actually hard to believe that she lived in China. She has advise for anything you might have questions for... ex) where to eat, what hotels to stay in, etc. She took us to some amazing restaurants. She has an amazing personality and is so very sweet!! We met with her for a total of 3 days.. Mainly to go to the factories where we were doing business, but we also enjoyed her company so we went shopping with her and a bit of sight seeing. 

If I ever return to China, I will surely meet with Jenny again. We still message from time to time over WhatsApp. I never want to lose touch with her!! She is still helping us communicate properly with our manufacturer from the factory. She was everything and more that we were looking for in a guide. 

I highly recommend Jenny to anyone traveling to Guangzhou/Hong Kong and area. If she ever came to Canada I would gladly give her the same services. Thank you Jenny for everything!!!

A friend and I had the pleasure of visiting Guangzhou in late March 2015 for business and some shopping.  Jenny picked us up from the airport and got us to the hotel without incident and was able to show us to every place we asked to go while in the city.

Jenny is fluent in English and picked up our Aussie sense of humour very quickly.  She is funny, friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent guide.  

During a visit to our manufacturer, and throughout our shopping trip, Jenny proved to be excellent in negotiating and interpreting the mood and position of the other party.

I would strongly recommend Jenny for anyone requiring an excellent guide.  Please note that Jenny is pretty good on the fang so make sure you allow some time for lunch during your day!  I will no doubt be returning to China on business again and will be booking Jenny as my guide.

My boyfriend and I visited Guangzhou on a short layover when heading back to Canada and we really enjoyed touring with Jenny. Not only is she knowledgable on the area, she is funny and takes you to great local spots. She is very accommodating and makes sure everything is in check before meeting up with her.
