My Experiences:

I'm Haigen, a solo travel guide based in Shenzhen, in Guangdong Province. I'm a careful driver and genuinely enjoy helping people, especially when it involves things I'm good at or familiar with. I've lived in Shenzhen for most of my life, except for four years in Canada where I pursued my education.

Since graduating, I’ve worked for five years as an overseas market salesperson in the manufacturing industry. Because of this experience, I not only guide travelers but also help with supplier sourcing in China—especially in the southern regions. I can be your trustworthy business assistant.

The reason I'm doing this is simple: there were too many times when I realized my buyers could have found better suppliers. But I was asked to keep that information to myself in order to win the orders. It felt terrible to know that people who trusted me were losing money because I couldn’t tell them the truth. So I started helping a few buyers find the suppliers that best matched their needs or offered the best deals. I even planned trips for them around their work schedules. That’s when I realized—helping people as a guide and sourcing agent might be the role that suits me best.

Travel:

I’m familiar with nearly every major attraction in Shenzhen and many top spots across Guangdong Province. I have a deep understanding of local culture and people, and I know how to choose the best places and experiences based on your interests and needs. During my career as a salesperson, I gained extensive experience planning travel itineraries for buyers visiting China.

Sourcing:

I grew up in a business family—my father ran a metal fabrication factory. With five years of experience as a manufacturing salesperson, I understand how Chinese businesses operate and where to find reliable suppliers. I'm familiar with the entire sourcing process: from product specification discussions and price negotiation, to arranging samples, managing production, conducting quality inspections, and organizing shipments.
