Cherry.... You are simply the best! Thanks for making my maiden visit to Guangzhou a memorable one and a very, very successful one. I live in the U.K. and that was actually my first visit to China. I am so thankful that I chose you. Right from the moment we met, we hit it! My memories of you is of a sister. Our 9 or 10 days together was packed with activities and you were up to it. You made me feel so relaxed and I did not have to worry about the routes to get to places because you had everything sorted out. You also took your time to understand my needs and the places I wanted to visit and we worked as a team to make everything very, very successful. Now, I can say proudly that as a result of your 'ice-breaking' skills comprising of your infectious smile, a friendly attitude and a keen interest in what I wanted to achieve, I was well liked and favoured by all those I had business dealings with and today, I am a lot better off for it as I made so many useful contacts and have been doing business with those people. Worth every single penny! On the social side of things, you took me to great restaurants and other attractions such as the temple at Foshan city and other great places. You were so much fun and you were very professional. Thank you so, so much. I think who ever chooses to hire you will find themselves thanking their stars they did! Dear Cherry,

Thank you so much for making my trip to GZ great. Without your help and guidance it could have been just okay. You were always on time. You actively listened and made sure I understood what was going on around me. I never had to worry if we were going somewhere unfamiliar, because you’d always get us back. (Didn’t have to keep pieces of paper with me with the name of the hotel or ‘please don’t serve me meat’.) We went to check out the quality of the samples the cabinetmakers had prepared, and your translation skills were invaluable. You helped me communicate with their designers and engineers – better than expected. Your patience that first day was pretty remarkable.

Our second day was easily my favorite. You clearly understood how into architecture I am, and our tour of the library, opera house and museum were excellent. But only topped off by your suggestion we check out the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel. Wow. And the view from the bar on the 99th floor was exceptional.

You did take a lot of pictures of your food. ☺

And you didn’t have to talk all the time. It meant we could ‘space out’ a little on all those insanely long cab rides without having to fill the silence.

When we talked you clearly showed an interest in art and culture, and I could tell how much you really loved your country.

Also very memorable was the lunch we had for Dragon Boat Festival. You kept me ahead of the customs so I felt included.

I really appreciated how much better you made my trip.

I wanted to do some shopping on the last day CIFF and I was flying out by late evening flight. I wanted somebody to assist me with some shopping and a bit of sight seeing. All the people I knew at Guangzhou were busy with exhibition.I googled for help and two names popped up. One was Jenny and the other was Cherry. I messaged both. Jenny replied to me that she was not available that day and interestingly she asked me to contact her sister Cherry who I had already messaged. I called Cherry and the response was absolutely friendly and welcoming. She said she needed one hour to reach my hotel. That gave me sufficient time to pack up and check out. Cherry reached the hotel lobby in time as promised. She greeted me with a bright smile and I was surprised she looked very young like a charming school girl. She never made me feel she was a tour guide and she was very friendly and kind. She helped me with my shopping and took Shamian Island for lunch to an excellent Chinese restaurant.The lunch and the company were both exceptional. Then we took a pleasant walk by the side of the river and around the island. We stopped for cup of coffee into a nice Indonesian restaurant.Cherry was a great company and it was a real pleasure to have a coffee break with her. We chatted about everything under the Sun as though we had been friends (she looked more like a daughter than a friend) for a long time. I started calling her Daughter Choy and she made fun of me calling me Daddy. Then we took a taxi to the hotel and had a bit of rest. She accompanied me all the way to airport.ultimately when said bye I was a bit sad. It was curtains drawn for a wonderful day I will never forget.

This review is long overdue. I booked Cherry as my tour guide for my trip to Guangzhou in November 2015. This was my first trip to China by myself so I needed a tour guide as I am not fluent in Cantonese and even less fluent in mandarin. I chose Cherry because she was fluent in Chinese and English. Cherry was the right choice. She picked me up at the Guangzhou airport even though my flight arrived very late and went through a few delays. I was glad she was patient and had the driver take me to my hotel which was pretty far from the airport. The next I had her pick me up to take me to sight seeing. She as very knowledgeable and I enjoyed listening to her tell me about Chinese culture. I do speak Cantonese well enough to converse so it as a great experience going with her and having conversations about differences between Chinese in America. While in Guangzhou cherry took me to Chen Clan Academy, Shamian Island, Shangxiajiu pedestrian, and baomo gardens. We also ate a lot of good food and had good conversation. She is really good at this job. After my 3 days in Guangzhou she accompanied me to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong one of my goals was Hong Kong Disneyland. I had not been to Disneyland since I was 8 so I asked her to take me to Hong Disneyland and she did. This was really fun. Cherry was the perfect travel companion for this trip. In Hong Kong we also rode the peak tram and were able to visit Madame Tussaud's wax museum. This was a lot of fun and I got talk to cherry about Hong Kong movie stars and which ones are still popular in the USA. We enjoyed the view from up there and also good food at the peak. The next day we went to the tian tan Buddha. I'm really out of shape but cherry encouraged me to climb to the top of the stairs and I'm glad I did. I was headed to Enping next so I knew cherry was not going to accompany me there as I had friends there waiting for me. But cherry did help buy my bus ticket and told me how the ride to enping would be. She accompanied me to the bus station and waited with me until my bus came. Cherry even kept in touch with me while I was Enping and after I returned to Guangzhou to fly back to the USA. I have to really say that cherry is an excellent tour guide. And I would highly recommend her. She is smart, very knowledgeable of Chinese culture and places, she is very charming, funny and a great conversationalist. All in all I'm glad I hired cherry for the trip as I feel that I have a tour guide for future trips and a good friend as well.

Our family decided while staying in HongKong we would visit ShenZhen and Guangzhou and that a guide would be needed.

We contacted Cherry via email and had great communication from Cherry.

Once we met we found Cherry extremely helpful and knowledgeable,  able to offer suggestions of what to see and do.

Having someone who can speak chinese and can interpret for you makes life a lot easier. 

Cherry made our trip so much more enjoyable and we could not have done it without her.

Would strongly recommend Cherry as a guide and would certainly be using her services again.

We have seen so much of France , Spain , Portugal and Morocco since but we are now heading to Amsterdam for the final part of our holiday.
