Born in Petra I heard from when I was a little kid all the stories of the guides working in what is now one of the new seven world wonders: Petra. I saw the tourism increasing and the place changing. When I was old enough to be part of this I went, first with my donkey and later with my horse to work with visitors from all over the world. Telling them the stories and secrets of this mysterious place. Finding new exiting routes with spectacular views.Always I followed my heart which is strongly connected with the nature. To go with my horse on the mountain paths, see the changing of the seasons. Make tea on a fire and think how lucky I am to live in a place so awesome that it’s attracting people from all over the world. The most beautiful nature with mountains, rocks, carved temples, tombs and houses. Near to the desert with its sand dunes for great adventures. To sleep in the mountains, the desert and the caves outside the Unesco heritage of Petra. Making the meals on a fire of wood. Gazing the shooting stars in the night. Being one with the nature.
