San Antonio SeaWorld

San Antonio SeaWorld is located in the Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, it is the largest marine-live theme park in the world. Its territory spreads in 250 acres (100 ha). It was opened in 1988.

Stovall Mill Covered Bridge

Stovall Mill Covered Bridge is a 36.8 feet long wooden bridge in White County built by Will Pardue in 1895. Even though it was previously used as any other bridge, today, the main road is located further away from it. It is one of the smallest covered bridges in Georgia that used to serve as a connection between Cleveland and Clayton road. There are stories about the bridge being cursed. Legends say that if one stands under the bridge during the night that he will hear the carriages drove by or even cries of unseen babies. Since 2000, Stovall Mill Covered Bridge is part of Georgia Historic Society. During its over 120 years long history the bridge was given several names such as Helen Bridge, Sautee Bridge, Nacoochee Bridge and Chickamauga Bridge.

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture is dedicated to Native art and culture of the Southwest. The museum uses its exhibitions, lectures, and different programs to tell the story that has its beginnings in pre historic times. It is host to over 42,000 piece collection. This collection can be divided into several collections like; textiles, pottery, baskets, jewelry, sculpture works, works on paper and canves, paintings, and archeological artifacts. Every year, this museum is visited by over 65,000 visitors, and that number speaks of its importance.

Santa Fe Southern Railway

Santa Fe Southern Railway is a short line of 18 miles (29 km) between Lamy and Santa Fe. Today this line is used only for tourists. San Miguel Mission

The Chapel of San Miguel is the oldest church in Santa Fe that was a Spanish colonial mission church. Today, it is a U.S. National Historic Landmark. It is located in the Barrio Analco Historic District which is the oldest European settlement in Santa Fe that spreads on the south side of the Rio de Santa Fe. It was built in the early 17th century but due to destruction in Pueblo Revolt it was rebuilt in early 18th century. In the second half of the 18th century the chapel became part of Saint Michael´s College. Even though it was restored several times it still holds its original shape and charm.

San Fernando Cathedral

The Cathedral of San Fernando is located in Downtown San Antonio. It is a Roman Catholic Church and the seat of the archbishop. Its construction started in 1731 and it is the oldest church in Texas. Except from being known as the Cathedral of San Fernando it is also known as the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria y Guadalupe. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well. The chatedral was founded a fifteen families that arrived from the Canary Islands. In the 19th century the cathedral was extended and Gothic elements were added to it. Today, the cathedral is the center of religious life of the Roman Catholics in San Antonio. This cathedral is especially proud by the fact that it was visited by the Pope John Paul II in 1987.

The Alamo

The Alamo is the site of the historical Battle of the Alamo which occurred 170 year ago. It spreads on 2.4 acre of land and is circulated by the modern parts of San Antonio. The Alamo was founded as Mission San Antonio de Valero in the 18th century. Today, the Alamo is the most popular tourist attraction in San Antonio where visitors can enter from five entrances. Most visited things in the Alamo area is the church where visitors can see various artifacts and flags. There are also the Alamo gardens with beautiful lawns and flowers as well as the Wall of History. The Long Barrack Museum opened in 1968 describes the entire history of the Alamo and displays a short film on the same subject.
