Liang Zhu Culture Park is a short distance outside Ningbo. It can be reached by the number 238 bus or by taxi.

The story of the butterfly lovers is known throughout China. Yangshuo, in Guangxi Province, is home to a butterfly cave dedicated to this famous couple, but Ningbo’s Gaoqiao Town stakes its claim as the real home of this moving story. This “Romeo and Juliet” story of China dates back nearly 2000 years. If you do not know the story, then a visit to this cultural park will answer all of your queries.

  The love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yintai is the most well-known among all generations in China. Even my mother who cannot read and write at all, told us this story in our childhood.  The music by violin and piano is beautiful to all ears.

This tragedy story is my favorite one, even though i don't like tragedy, but i just can not to forget about it, they are they people who so care about each other and died for the love.

It`s a Chinese version of “Romeo and Juliet” .
