Qiguoji became a famous  tasty food in Yunnan province since 2000 year ago.

Jianshui , a city in the south of Kunming, produce purple claypot. the claypot is widely used for cooking food.

When cooking chicken,   Cut chicken into small pieces, Mixed up with giner, salt, onion and other ingredient. put everything into the clay pot,  then Put the claypot on a container with water(see Picture below). the whole process last 3-4 hour. As the claypot produce Very hot steam, So the chiken tastes great ! this is a very special food that you need to try when traveling to Yunnan!

 Bean Jelly is a famous snack in Lijiang,  Naxi people love it !

The raw material is usually  bean, the process of making bean jelly including: 

1.cleaning the bean with water

2. removing the skin of bean

3.grinding the bean into powder

4.Siftting  out the powder from the chaff

5.Mixing bean powder with water & salt

6.pouring the uncooked soy bean milk into a cooking pot

7.Stiring soybean milk until it is fully cooked (it will be sticky)

8.Put it into a basin and let it cool down

Bean jelly are usually served in two ways: hot and cold

Hot:  

cut the bean jelly into slices, fried it it the pan with vegetable oil, when it is is cooked, mix up with some ingrident,  such as garlic ,salt, chilli, sichuan pepper, soy sauce ,etc.

Cold:

cut the bean jelly into slices, mix up with some ingrident,  such as garlic ,salt, chilli, sichuan pepper, soy sauce ,etc. the cold bean jelly is very popular in summer.

chuxiong is located in the northwest of yunnnan province.it is the biggest place for yi people.it is a land of red soil.mushroom is the best product in this area.mushroom and spicy and the chicken soup .vegetables are very nutritional.you should pay a visit here if you come to kunming.yipinyuan is the best retaurants to try this dish.the restaurant is in the west gate of chuxiong city.

tonight,Some Britishs and I went to a restaurant in kunming,the name of the restaurant is Jjixinyuan ,there you can taste the most natural Cross-bridge rice noodles, which is very  famous food in whole yunnan.people never trying the noodle is not a true tour to yunnan.I strongly recommend to you.and it has different materials in the soup,for example,  mushroom、herbs、vegetable and etc.it is nutritional for all people.especially for those do not like spicy food.good to try.
