Stepsin the middle of the square lead customers down into an underground wonderworld also known as Quan Cheng Square Shopping Center. Besides a deluxe supermarket that sells both local and foreign goods, many stores sell everything from pantyhose and makeup to basketballs and shuttlecocks. Overall, and probably unsurprising to the experienced foreigner (Lao Wai), clothing is the most common item available here. Quan Cheng Square is really an interesting experience. Since it is such a popular shopping locale for Jinan's residents, there is quite a bit of local flavor. When you get a little weary from the shopping, just surface for a breathe of fresh air in Quan Cheng Square, a huge park in the center of everything!

UNI-Mart, Jinan’s most expensive supermarket, offers a lush selection of imported and local goods. Next door to UNI-Mart is Kang Kang Fast Food, which features individual hot pot service. The Silver Plaza shopping center (upstairs) is worth checking out, but shop around at other places before you buy anything, as it is a bit overpriced.

Da Run Fa, in addition to the supermarket downstairs, has a floor full of low-priced appliances, household products, bicycles, sports equipment, clothing, CDs, books, and watches. Bring your wallet and have fun! A piece of advice: be sure to avoid the crowds around four or five in the afternoon or on Sundays. Every deal hunter in Jinan adores Da Run Fa.
Just look for the McDonald's and KFC at the corner of Wen Hua Road (this is where Wen Hua breaks into East and West Culture Street) and Li Shan Road. Da Run Fa is above the fast food restaurants. Across the street from Da Run Fa you'll find Jenny's Cafe (Western & Chinese food & drink). And lastly, next to Jenny's is U-Mart, a gold mine in the department of Western delicacies.
You can take bus No. 125, 127, 12, 15, 67, 7, K100, K107, K90, K91 to get there.
