The Imperial City Art Museum of Beijing is located at Changpuhe park on the east side of Tiananmen square. It is a comprehensive museum of research, exploration, display and propagation in one that aims to study of the history of the Ming and Qing two dynasties, promote the Chinese traditional culture, promote Chinese classical art, to promote world cultural exchanges.
The central hall of the museum contains a scale model of the ancient Imperial City based on the panorama of Beijing 1750, and provides an amazing insight into the appearance of the early core of Beijing.
