Baekrokdam(백록담)is the dummit of Mt. Hallasan in Jejudo island(=Jeju island).  It makes beautiful scenery according to the seasons. In my opinion the most beautiful season is the winter.  

It is 1950 meter high, so you can see the summit every almost where from Jejudo island. It is the highest mountain in South Korea. It is connecting the Baekdusam mountain in the North Korea. We Korean calls it Baekdudaegan. 

Eventhough you don't go to the summit Mt. Hallasan is good place to enjoy manu oreum.

Jisan Forest Resort(지산포레스트리조트)  was opened opened in December 1996, makes for the perfect one-day trip from Seoul.

Jisan Forest Resort is located only one hour from the capital city Seoul and is covered with beautiful white pines. Furthermore, the Icheon ceramics complex and premium outlet are only 15 minutes away. These offering a variety of sights to see. Icheon hot spring also near by - about one hour. 

Ihwa Mural Village and Naksan Park (이화 벽화마을과 낙산공원). 

These two places are conjoint each other. It is quiet place compared with other places. It looks like more local place.  If you have a time after finishing all the tours take some break here and grape a bite here and watch the sunset, it will be a good closing. 

Byeongsan Seon(병산서원) is private Confucius academy in Andong, South Korea. You can see the old and peaceful buildings in this area. It is also famous for the Queen Elizabeth2 visited here and Hahoe village which is near by here.  

Seoweon is kind of private school where the famous (normally retired scholar or politician) scholar taught their point of view. And this produced good skilled scholars too.  It is famous for Ryu Seong-yong(= Yu Seong-yong) taught here. Ryu Seong-yong is great scholar during Joseon dynasty (1392 ~ 1910).

Jagalchi fish market (자갈치 시장) is very interesting for travelers, because it sells very exotic fishes and shells - stingray, hair tail fish, flat fish, pollack, octopus, small octopus, shark, eel, etc. 

Among them eel and small octopus is very interesting to try. You can see pier with sea gulls. 

The must see in Gyeongju, Seokguram Grotto is a hermitage and part of the Bulguksa temple complex in Gyeongju city.

It will take about 5 hours from Seoul to the south east by car. It is four kilometers east of the Bulkuksa temple on Mt. Tohamsan.  It is classified as National Treasure No. 24 by the South Korean government. 

The grotto overlooks the East Sea and rests 750 meters above sea level.

It was designated the 24th national treasure of Korea In 1962. Seokguram was listed to the UNESCO World Heritage In 1995(together with the Bulguksa Temple). 

It exemplifies the best Buddhist sculptures in the world. Because it has combination of arts, architecture, science, geometry.

Bulkuksa is the most priority destination in South Korea. 

It is the most famous tourist attraction from 8th century. It was expended and built in 751 by Kim Daeseong by the order of king. Its meaning is "The Buddha's World". Also it has metaphor, the Silla Kingdom (BC57 ~ AD935) is the unified at the time it was built so the Buddha's World is peaceful that is to say the Unified Silla Kingdom peaceful and the King has the all the rights.

Songwol-dong Donghwa maeul.

Its meaning is "Fairy Tale village in Songweol-dong"  in Incheon, South Korea. There are three places(=destinations) in this area. So you can enjoy three at once. Those are China Town, Jayugongweon(=Freedom Park) and Songweol-dong Donghwa mawel.

This village's mural is well kept and there are coffee shop and Patbingsu shop in this village. Why don't you grap a cup of coffe when you are tired while looking around.  

These are very famous for local people even for Seoul people.  The is more than 100 years restaurant in China Town that is Gonghwachun. Chinese food is localized in South Korea. You can taste different types of Chinese food in Korea.  

Jayugongweon(=Freedom Park) is very populated among Incheon citizens.  You can command fine viwe around sea-front and Mt. Weolmisan. Where the Operation Chromite was held.

This trail starts at Hallasan National Park Visitor Center and continues of to Eoseungtaeng-oreum Summit. The trail is 1.3km long and a one-way trip takes 30 minutes. Eoseungsaengak is an oreum (parasitic cone volcano) for hikers who want to go for an easy stroll after visiting the Visitor Center. On clear days Chuja Island, Biyang Island, Seongsan-Ilchulbong and Jeju Island’s east oreums can be seen. At the summit there still remain some Tochikas, which were military facilities used by the Japanese during the occupation of Korea.
