This is a relaxing and lively communicative place  & restaurant in Beijing , well the restaurant is as tall as warehouse , so we can see open style kitchen and large bar over there, furthermore, the decorative style of restaurant is the most impressive part for clients, and their hot pot taste so delicious !

This is an excellent restaurant which doesn't apply the soaring prices typical of Beijing. It is off the tourist track, located in a Hutong area so only the local people  know where it is. It is very close to the Red Wall Garden Hotel. I was recommended by a taxi driver of this excellent restaurant. Da Lian Shao is their special dish.

Dining there, you can enjoy the delicious local food, listen to the local people chatting.

I understand many visitors might prefer to try local food, but if you crave some Southeast Asian cuisine, Pandan is definitely the best choice. I can only recommend the one on Huanshi Donglu (which is the original one) as I haven't tried the other ones. It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Guangzhou and my Indonesian friend took his family there every time he visited Guangzhou and told me it's very authentic and good. It will be hard to find another restaurant that offers better value for money in the city of Guangzhou. It's also very popular with locals so it's always packed on weekends and during dinner time, so go early if you don't want to wait for a table! My favorite dishes: Beef rendang, satay, the plate of tumiric rice with many side dishes, the roasted chicken... (forgot the name, but you'll see the pictures on the menu)
