Beijing City Central Youth Hostel

The best part about Beijing City Central UTELS is its location. It is directly across the street from the Beijing Train Station, down the block from the airport shuttle stop, and literally just a few meters away from a subway station entrance.  Besides that it is also clean and inexpensive.

 

City Central UTELS bills itself as a hotel, motel and hostel and indeed it falls somewhere between these classifications.  They offer budget hotel rooms that include individual bathrooms as well as 2, 4 and 6 bed rooms with shared bathrooms.  Many rooms do not have windows, so be sure to ask specifically for a window if so desired.

 

There is a convenience store next door and several close-by restaurants including a Japanese restaurant in the mall across the street that currently features an all-you-can-eat buffet for only 68 yuan!
