Pingjiang Road of Suzhou

Pingjiang Road, a creek-lined narrow street stretching over 1.6 kilometers, is the most original old street in Suzhou. The existence of Pingjiang Road street dated back about one thousand years ago as the evidence of its appearance on the map of Suzhou drawn in the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279). Many ancient bridges and old houses by the street carry stories to be told. If you are interested in folk arts of Suzhou, such as Kungqu Opera (Oral & Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO) performances, Pingtan plays (storytelling and balad singing in Suzhou dialect) and sugar-painted lollipops, it is also the place to be, with theaters, museums and stalls scattered in the convergences off the Pingjiang Road street.

Lion Grove (Shi Zi Lin)

The Lion Grove Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou. It's half an hour away from Shanghai by train! It's famous for the large and labyrinthine grotto of taihu rock at the garden's center! The name of the garden derives from the shape of these rocks which are said to resemble lions. Currently ,the Lion Grove Garden is one of the most popular spots for tourists in Suzhou. It's recognized with other classical Suzhou garden as a united nations world heritage site!

Tiger Hill

Tiger Hill is No.1 sight in Suzhou. It's famous for the leaning pagoda, 1060 years, compared to Pisa Leaning Tower.

Tongli Town

With the town, one of six southern town, Taihu Lake in East Grand Canal Wujiang District, Suzhou City. Was built in the Song Dynasty, has more than 1,000 years of history, is a veritable culture of the Han River town.
Tongli is a long history and the typical style of the southern region of the Han River town has. Tongli formerly known as "rich soil." Early Tang to "copper in the" Song of the old name Chaizi as "Tongli." Tongli scenic, outside the town is surrounded by water, the town is divided by 15 rivers for seven islands connected by 49 bridges. Waterfront town every family, every household boat; Ming and Qing houses, row upon row; Ming and Qing bridge intact.

Panmen Scenic Area

Panmen Scenic Area, located in the southwest of the old city of Suzhou, has the historical Ruiguang (Auspicious Luster) Pagoda, the unique Water-and-Land City Gates and the well-known Wumen Bridge. The central courtyard with the "One Pond and Three Hills" pattern of traditional classic gardens is integrated with ancient construction masterpieces. Riverside scenes, ponds, pavilions, lakes and rockeries appear magnificent, relaxing and natural. Thus the Panmen Scenery Area, with deep historical feeling and luminous modern touch, induces the tourists to feel the deep-rooted significance of Wu culture and the history of Suzhou.
