Bus

Gwangjang market(광장시장) is pure Korean traditional market. It started with Hanbok - Korean Traditional Costumes. Still it is very famous for Korean costumes. It has Bindaeddeok and Beef Tatar as must try food. There is very popular food street in this market selling Jokbal (Pig feet), BBQ, Gimbap, Sundae, Fried chicked, etc.

Dongdaemun market (=Dongdaemun Shopping Center, 동대문 시장) is the place where wholesalers go. Nowadays it is also tourists. it is famous for clothes but it sells every item.  It started with Gwangjang market by the pure Korean capital. 

There is another side of Cheonggyeocheon stream, so don't shop too much to mess the beautiful Cheonggyeocheon stream. 

Changdeokgung (창덕궁) palace is listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. It has the most original palace part among five palaces in Joseon dynasty(1932 ~ 1910). It was constructed in 1405 and finished construction in 1412.  

Its floor plan is asymmetry which means the buildings following the natural structure of small creek and trail in the mountain. It is beauty of nature. 

It has big back yard garden which is called "Huweon" also called secret garden in English.  This garden is really beautiful for four seasons. It is also called "East Palace"

DMZ is a buffer zone between two Koreas. It was established to prevent a clash of arms. 

DMZ is an area looks like a belt from East to West. It covers 2 kilometers from the MDL to the South Korea and 2 kilometers from the MDL to the North Korea. So it is located in the middle of the Korean peninsula.

Actually some area is narrow than 2 kilometers because of the shape of a river or mountain which was the front line during the Korean War.

Folk Museum of Korea(국립 민속박물관) is the good place to understand Korean life style in a short time.  It is very next corner of Gyeongbokgung palace.  The building's design of this museum is based on various historical buildings in Korea. 

There are main museum hall (Gallery 1, 2, 3 - among them gallery 3 is best place for understand by life passage), traditional house of Korea and buildings in 1970s and 1980s in the outdoor.   

Ihwa Mural Village and Naksan Park (이화 벽화마을과 낙산공원). 

These two places are conjoint each other. It is quiet place compared with other places. It looks like more local place.  If you have a time after finishing all the tours take some break here and grape a bite here and watch the sunset, it will be a good closing.
