Tongli is a 1000-year-old village. It is built on seven islets with 15 canals and 49 ancient bridges. It has a very rich tradition of local craftsmanship, an example of which can be seen at Jiayin Hall. It also boasts many lovely gardens such as the Retreat-and-Reflection(Tuisi) Garden which shows the essence of Suzhou classic gardens. We will visit Jiayin Hall and Tuisi Garden and then take a boat ride along the waterways in it.
