1. Former residence of Sun Yat-sen in Shanghai
Sun Yat-sen is the leader of Chinese democractic revolution and founder of Kuomintang. It is a residence of him and Madam Soong Chingling in Shanghai.
It is a two-story house of European country style and was donated to Dr. Sun Yat-sen by the Chinese citizens residing in Canada. In March 1961, the residence was listed among key historical relics under protection at the national level. In 2003, it was appointed as the base for patriotic education in Shanghai by Shanghai municipal government. In November 2006, Sun Yat-sen Museum was founded in a western-style house next to the residence.

2. Former Residence of Soong Chingling in Shanghai
Soong Chingling is one of the leaders of the PRC, and spouse of Dr. Sun Yat-set. She lived here for 32 years since she moved there in the spring of 1949 until her death in 1981.
It is a two-story European ivory garden house built in 1920s, shaped like a ship. And it is a key historical relic under national protection.

3. Former Residence of Lu Xun
Lu Xun was a famed Chinese writer. The residence used to be his house before his death, where he finished voluminous papers and editing work. It is the second to last house in Lane 132 of Dalu residential quarters, a complex of new-style three-story houses of brick and wooden structure. It was developed by Shanghai Trust of Dalu Bank and completed in 1931.

4. Former Residence of Ba Jin
Bajin, an eminent contemporary writer, publisher and translator, and one of the most influential literary figures since May Fourth Movement. He once acted as the vice chairman of the CPPCC, and his masterpiece ' Torrent Trilogy' left a memorable spot in modern history of the Chinese literature. He lived there for over 40 years in his final residence in Shanghai. It is a garden house of the English country style, composed of one main building and two auxiliary buildings. It is completed in 1923. The facade is decorated with the tiny cobble stones in an unsophisticated style.

5. Cultural Celebrities' Street on Doulun Road
This is a legendary street associated with cultural celebrities. The street, only 560-m long, once lived a galaxy of cultural giants like Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Mao Dun, Qu qiubai, Ye Shentao, Ding Ling and Xia Yan.
Ever since the completion of the first western classical style house using highly selected material. This street had witnessed appearance of various architectural buildings by the 1930's, like European-style house, Japanese-style apartment, Shanghai Shikumen and country houses.
6. Astor House Hotel
It is what used to be RICHARDS HOTEL, named after a British captain who built the hotel on the bank of Suzhou Creek. A host of celebrities once stayed there, including Einstein, Chaplin, Russell and Edgar Snow, a renowned American writer.
It has an exterior of neoclassism style featuring Baroque in the Victoria times and interior is elegantly decorated for a fabulous ambience. It had the most luxurious venue in the Far East then, like Peacock Hall on the first floor, Richard Hall on the second floor and Central Hall on the third floor.

7. Si Ming Cun Residential Area
It used to be the exclusive residences of Si Ming Bank executives built in 1932. Quite a few historical figrues, including Tagore, Zhang Taiyan and Xu Zhimo. There are 118 3-story houses of brick-wood structure in an area of 30,000 square meters in total and it is a complex of new-style Shikumen built with red tiles and bricks.
