morning pick up from hotel at around 8:00 

drive about 1 hour 20 minutes to Dujiangyan Panda Base . in the morning you can do the panda volunteer work from 8:30-16:00, and you can also hold a panda for photos here . apparently, Dujiangyan panda base is not so crowded as Chengdu panda base . and more natural 

at around 12:00 lunch time you will finishe the panda base . drive about 30 minutes to Dujiangyan city for lunch .

after lunch, visit the famous world cultural heritage Dujiangyan Irrigation project which was built in the year 256 BC. and still working now . before Dujiangyan Irrigation was built, Chengdu plain is a disaster for both flood and drought. there are three main projects: Fish Head dividing Dyke, Feisha sand spillway and Bottle Inlet . Dujiangyan Irrigation make full use of the geographical conditions: northwest higher and southeast lower,  according to the landform, water speed , divide the river without dam, irrigate the farmland automatically  with the gravity. after Dujiang Project was built, it guarantee the water of  Chengdu Plain  

it will take 1.5-2 hours inside Dujiangyan Lidui Park. after the visit drive about 1.5 hour back to Chengdu. finishe the tour
