Black Mountain Valley is situated in Wan Sheng District in Chongqing, and is 23 km away from the downtown. The valley is 13 km long with its top on the latitude 1973 meters, and the bottom 600-700 metres.

Black Mountain is in between of Chongqing and Gui Zhou Province. Along with the other four Mountains, Jin Yun Mountain, Four Sides Mountain, Golden Budda Moutain and Fairy Mountain, Black Mountain is called the "Five Great Mountains in Chongqing".

It contains the essence of the Karst landform in both chongqing and Gui Zhou province. 

Besides, it is covered by 97%  virgin forest and more than 1800 kinds of plants.It offers accommodation for 300 kinds of animals.
