Tour Description
My city, Kuala Lumpur (KL) is the capital city of Malaysia. Many of my guests who visited have found the city to be more modern that they had expected and that the highways are very impressive. Though the usage of every highway requires toll payment, it makes travel smooth and quick.
Kuala Lumpur is the financial and cultural centre of Malaysia but the Federal Government's Administrative Centre is located some 25km south of the city in a very impressive garden city known as Putrajaya.
The city plays hosts to a population of about 2 million people employed in its many financial, tourism, manufacturing services. Many people live outside the city, in its many suburbs and this vast metropolitan known as Greater KL or the Klang Valley boasts of an estimated population of about 8 million people.
The people of KL are warm and friendly and we all smile easily. You will find Malays, Indians and Chinese besides other Asian foreigners as well as Europeans in the city. While the national language is called Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and English are also very commonly spoken here in the capital city.
Kuala Lumpur has a year-round tropical climate which is warm, sunny and hot in the day and cooler in the evening. It tends to rain in the late afternoon or evening and temperatures tend to remain constant and hover between 31 and 34 °C in the day.
The tour will start with the pickup from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur in an air-conditioned car. We will visit as many places as possible according to your priority and places that you feel you must visit. I will also introduce you to some local finger food as well.
