Pick up from your hotel lobby at 9:00am. Transfer to Shichahai Lake Area and Yandaixiejie Street by car to have a roam(1 hour), then we view Drum Tower(30 minutes) and Bell Tower(30 minutes). You can see the drum beating performance. The Bell and Drum Towers continued to function as the official timepiece of China and government until 1924, when the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty was forced to leave the Forbidden City and western-style clockwork was made the official means of time-keeping.

Bell Tower:

Gulou, the drum tower of Beijing, is situated at the northern end of the central axis of the Inner City to the north of Di'anmen Street. Originally built for musical reasons, it was later used to announce the time and is now a tourist attraction.

Drum Tower:

Zhonglou, the bell tower of Beijing, stands closely behind the drum tower. Together with the drum tower, they provide an overview of central Beijing and before the modern era, they both dominated Beijing's ancient skyline.Bells and drums were musical instruments in ancient China. Later they were used by government and common people as timepieces. The Bell and Drum towers were the center of Chinese chronology during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.

Lunch at a characteristic restaurant(1.5 hours).

Then we continue to visit Hutong area to Yandaixiejie Street(1hour). Finally proceed to see Olympic Green(1.5hours) by car, tour around the Bird`s Nest (Olympic National Stadium outside) and the Water Cube (Outside). Transfer back to your hotel.

Olympic Green:

The Olympic Green is an Olympic Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Since then, the streets around the park have been used for an exhibition street race of the FIA GT1 World Championship in 2011, after a race at Goldenport Park Circuit in the vicinity.
