When checking rooms/acommodations in the Philippines:

1)   Check the bathroom/toilet/shower - turn on all faucets, flush the toilet, check the drains, windows/ventilation, etc.

2)   Check the noise level - if it's not to your liking, asked to be moved/transferred to something more suitable

3)  Ask for upgrades (free or otherwise!)  -  a lot of times there are upgrades available, JUST ASK!

Cebu City to Bantayan Island

The transfer from Cebu's main island to Bantayan Island must be made by ship. 

At Cebu City’s North Bus Terminal, you can take a bus or hired van to Hagnaya Port on the north side of the island.  The land transfer takes about 3 hours from Cebu City.  

From there, board an express ferry that takes about 30 minutes to Santa Fe port; then a short 5 minute van ride to the resort.
