Tower Tank

Torre Tanque is water storage tower which construction was finished in 1943. The tank holds 500m³ It is famous for the marvelous view that stretches over Mar the Plata. The tower is built on the top of the Stella Maris Hill while the terrace from which the beautiful view can be seen is on the height of 75 m. The tower was built of stone from the Mar de Plata area. The architect Cornelio Lange projected the tower in the Tudor style. It reaches 88 m above sea level.
