Jing'an Hotel

Jing'an Hotel was built in 1925 with nine floors. The building in the beginning functioned as Spanish style apartment until the liberation of China. In the ensuing years, it housed the Eastern China Executive Committee and Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC. In the end of 1977, it was transformed as "Jing'an Hotel" for the purpose of the development of toursim. In 1992, a penthouse of two floors were added onto the structure. There are still many Spanish features in this building now.
