Dome Fresco in the Rome Hall of Pacific Hotel

The building of present-day Pacific (Jinmen) Hotel used to be the office of Hua'an Life Insurance Company, one of the largest insurance companies at that time, was built in 1926. After the liberation of Shanghai, it became Huaqiao Hotel and it was a hotel that mainly received overseas Chinese. The building is ornate in almost any component in classical Italian style. The dome fresco in the Rome Hall on 8th floor that features religious motif doesn't look glossy though, it's exclusively awe-inspiring.
