Ta'er Monastery with over 600 years'history, located at Lusha'er Town,Huangzhong County, Xining City,Qinghai Province, is one of the 6 major monasteries delicated to Gelupa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Featuring a grand architecture complex, Ta'er Monastery is a treasure house of culture and art with rich collection of excellent cultural artifacts. Butter sculpture, murals and appliqued embroidery are 3 treasures of the monastery.
Many tourists will go to Tibet via Xining.

Qinghai is least known area in China even we know its Tibetan Area. Except the Qinghai Lake, we barely know something. Thanks for telling us the Ta'er Monastery
