About this place
Buckingham Old Gaol Museum building dates back to 1748 when it was built to serve as a prison, and now it houses a beautiful museum which explores the history of Buckingham. What were once prison cells now are exhibition areas.
The museum includes the Flora Thompson Collection and the Buckinghamshire Military Trust exhibits. The Old Gaol Museum is a Buckinghamshire landmark.
