Phra Pathom Chedi, situated in Nakhon Pathom is the tallest Buddhist reliquary with its 127 m (417ft) of height. It is built in 4th century and it consists of four shrines. Its name means the Holy chedi of the Beginning, and it is probably the earliest Buddhist monument in Thailand. It is built in Indian and Khmer style. King Rama IV ordered its restoration which ended in 1870.
