Phra Nakhon Khiri

Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park, also known as Khao Wang is situated in Phetcheburi Province, on a hill overlooking the city. The Khao Wang park is registered as a historical park in1979. It is composed of three groups of buildings situated on hills. The name Khao Wanf means Palace on the Hill.

The Royal residential complex is situated on western hill. A chedi, Phra That Chom Phet is located on the middle hill, while the eastern hill contains Wat Maha Samanaram and Wat Phra Kaeo. There are two ways of climbing the hills; walking or using a cable car for some 30 Baht.
