About this place

Ang Thong National Marine Park has a territory of about 100 sq miles and 42 breath-taking islands. Here one can see white sandy beaches, waterfalls, and tropical forests. It was declared a national park in 1980, and this has helped in the preservation of the nature. Although the entire park is perfect for sightseeing, snorkeling, and walking, there are two locations within the park that stand out; the saltwater lake Thale Nai, and the sandy beach Koh Mae. The islands are rich with wildlife, so here one can see monkeys, sea eagles, tortoises, sea turtles, lizards, etc.
