Luodai Ancient Town
The history of the ancient town dates back to Three Kingdom period,which is over 1800 year ago. 90% of the residents are not Sichuanese but Hakkas. They are the offsprings of migrants from Northern Guangdong(Canton) Province at the end of 17th centry. The 20000 population in the town are still keeping the old traditional lifestyle, They are communicating in Hakka dialect,celebrating Fire and Water Dragon dance for harvest, living in wooden and brick houses.

Luodai ancient town is the first place I went to Chengdu. Luodai ancient town is located in Longquanyi District of Chengdu City, is a national AAAA class tourist attractions, known as the world, the world's Luodai, hakka". The position of Hakka in the world is also established.

The offsprings of Luodai Ancient Town are not only the migrants from Guangdong Province, but also the Hunan and Hubei Province. The life style inherited from the 3 different places, the food stlye is closer to Hunan and Hubei stlye: spicy.

Luodai town about 20 km away from Chengdu, the traffic is very convenient.
