jinjiangli village diaolou cluster

jinjiang village lies on the west bank of the tanjiang river valley,xian'gang township.it is one of the tour inscribed village on the WH List.it is a village of overseas clan first moved here from their old ancestral village of changan in the guang xu period(1875-198).they built the village and gave it its name meaning embroidery river village,refeming to its location.in the early 20th century,members of the village and those who lived overseas built shengfeng lou,jinjiang lou and ruishi lou to protect their families
