Metro Line Map of Shanghai

        Shanghai has excellent metro system, there are 12 metro lines, almost can take you to most parts of Shanghai  city area.The fee starts from 3 RMB  , you can buy a single journey ticket from ticket machine  each time or buy a multiple ticket card with some money pre-charged in the card, a card is 20 RMB, you can  add some money which usually 20 RMB  is the minimum.  After the use, you can return the card back to any ticket window and get the balance back.

   The metro line 2 connects the Hongqiao International airport and Pudong International Airport ,but pretty long way, nearly 50 kilometers,  totally takes about 2 hours. A reminder for the passengers who go to Pudong International Airport by Line 2, you need to get off the metro at Guanglan Station ,and go to opposite side of the same platform to wait other  metro specially for Pudong Internationl Airport .

    In addition, there is the Maglev Train starts from Longyang station of Metro Line 2 and ends Pudong International Airport which takes 7 minutes travels 30 kilometers ,you  can use the multiple ticket card which be charged 40 RMB each journey, can help to save 10 RMB ,normally is 50 RMB. If you don`t have it ,you can show your E-ticket or boarding pass to get a ticket with 40RMB.
