South Yunnan Road Food Street is the most popular one among the food streets. A variety of local flavors are sold in many small shops, opening from the dusk to wee hours, such as Xiaolongbao, Shengjian Baozi, Fried Tofu with Thin Noodles, Shrimp Wonton, Chicken and Duck Blood Soup, Jiuniang Yuanzi (glutinous rice dumpling in sweet rice wine), Pumpkin Pie and other snacks from all over the country. What you can't miss is Xiandelai Paigu Nianggao (rice cake with braised spareribs in Xiandelai Restaurant), Nanxiang Xiaolongbao (steamed buns of Nanxiang town). Last but not least, Cold Chicken Slices in time-honored Xiaoshaoxing Restaurant is another must-try delicacy in Shanghai.
