When silk was first used,  it was stored professional  for the use of the ruler, and silk was also used to the emperor.

Later on,  the different classes of society began wearing silk, and silk got  into more general use. As well as being used for clothing and decoration, silk was  put to industrial use by the Chinese later , Something which happened in the Western country only in modern times,and it  became one of the main contents of the Chinese economy.
