Ancient Cliff House (Guyaju)

I have been there, and it's an amazing project when people wanted to hide and stay in a secluded place, they worked out something incredible. When they didn't have modern mechanism, they had to do it all by hands. I was surprised that they had even kitchens, sitting rooms and bedrooms out of the cliff.

Guyaju is located in the Northwest Mountainous Area of Yanqing County of Beijing City, Zhang Shan Ying Town in a quiet valley, located in the East Village North, about 20 kilometers away from Yanqing County

The ancient cliff houses were digged by some unknown ancestors on steep cliffs. There are altogether 147 stone rooms, divided into front, middle and rear parts,hanging on the cliffs of about 100,000 square meters.

Guyaju Scenic Area, an eternal mystery of human remains, located 20 kilometers northwest of the Great Wall at Badaling in Yanqing Zhang Shan Ying Town region. Guyaju has been found in China's largest home cliff ruins.
