Shanghai Oriental Art Center

    The Shanghai Oriental Art Center was lcated in the administrative and cultural center of Pudong New Area. It was designed by Paul Andreu, the French architect known for airport designs worldwide! Shanghai Oriental Art Center ,loking like a butterfly orchid with five petals which are the Entrance Hall,the Oriental Performance Hall,the Oriental Concert Hall,the Exhibition Hall and the Oriental Opera Hall. All the different halls have different functions.The inner decoration demonstrates Andreu's design concept''a return to nature''.

     Every year ,there are many outstanding artists has performaces in here! Such as, recently, '' In the Moon for Love by Shanghai Ballet'', '' Hongkong Phil Beethoven 9'',''london Symphony Orchestra 2010 Shanghai Concert'' and so on.

Take metro line1 to Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Station,then walk 5 minutes; metro line No.4 to Pudong Road Station.
