the Lotus Hill

Located at Zhi Yang,the mouth of the Pearl River.covering an area of 2.33 square killometers, Lian Hua Shan (Lotus Hill) is a rare large-scale ancien srte of stone quarry in China,with a long history over 2000 years.It's famous for the perfect handiwork,called "relic of stone carving" as a pretty wonder as Shi Lin (stone forest) at Yun Nan province.There's a Lian Hua Ta (lotus tower) on top of the hill,climbing up to its top,you can take a look of the running Pearl River water and the crisscross paths on a farmland,which draws a nice and traditional rural scene. What's more,there's a statue of "Sea Goddess of Mercy" 40.88 meters in height,which is the largest bronze status with gold foil in the world.The imitative ancient pavilion of Goddess contains statue around 1000 sets,thus it becomes the largrst pavilion of Giddess in the world.  

taking bus at Da Ji Tou central bus station of Hani Zhu District,or Huan
Shi Road,or guangzhou Avenue to Shi Qiao of Pan Yu,RMB 6-10,then tranfer to special line with around RMB 3-4;taking boat at GuangZhou Da Zhong Lou (Clock Tower).
