Sheshan Basilica

    Sheshan Basilica was built on the peak of Sheshan Hill!  It's a Cathlic Church and a famous pilgrimage. The original church was built in 1871 by a French missinary ,and he intergrated both Chinese and Western architectural elements! It was rebuilt be a Portuguese priest and architect, whose Chinese name was Ye Zhachang!

    In May each year,pilgrims from all arund China cngregate at this church t make annual pilgrimage!
