About this place

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Shanghai is proud to exhibit a two-week Hungarian Art Forum that will fill the museum with Hungarian culture, in conjunction with the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
The forum will include the series, "Faces and Fights" by the best-known Hungarian photographer Robert Capa and a selection of work from the most talented contemporary photographers. In showcasing the diversity of Hungarian animation, this forum will screen a wide range of films. In the realm of architecture, China and Hungary are brought together by László Hudec, who designed China's first tallest building, the Park Hotel. Roaming around the museum building, you might come across one of the ten giant painted models of the Gömböc. These are the central element of the Hungarian Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo. In addition to all of this, also on display will be the latest collection by fashion designer Katti Zoob, which was most recently presented at Shanghai Fashion Week.
