Golabatoon home tour is tailor made to suit your exact requirements. We organize your trip, guides, accommodation, flights, arrival transfers, drivers, all entrance tickets for your trip and anything else you require. However, I explain a typical tour here.

Besides, this tour can be run separately or can be part of another tour of visiting Iran, such as:

-          Tehran-Kashan-Esfahan-Yazd

-          Tehran-Kashan-Meybod-Yazd

-          Yazd-Kerman

 

Itinerary

 Day 1,

I meet you at Yazd airport or Train Station and some minutes later we get to Historical context of Yazd (a UNESCO world heritage site). You check in a beautiful home-like residence. After some time to rest, we walk through allies with mud-brick architecture to get to Golabatoon Home. After visiting the home and getting to know its history and all parts and drinking some Iranian beverages, you start living some days of old days. You can knead dough and baked bread in Tanoor. Meanwhile, you can participate your own food preparations including providing Iranian food condiments from traditional spice markets in Bazaar.

Also, you can enjoy the peaceful silence of home and read some books or rest. Then it is time to paly with clay and do some pottery. You can experience preparation clay dough, form your pottery, use a pottery oven or kiln to complete pottery process and make your potteries complete and ready to use.

At the end of the day, after having dinner you come back to your residency and rest.

 Day 2,

We enjoy walking through historical context of Yazd allies and visit some historical places including windcatchers, visit handicrafts shops and Amir Chakhmaq square. Then we eat lunch and take some rest.

Now it is time to enjoy sandhills safari or walking or riding camel, as you prefer, in desert camping resorts which are only 20 minutes from Yazd city. After Enjoying desert sunset landscape, Stargazing and barbecue for dinner we come back to residency.

 Day 3,

Today is time to rest and experience life in Golabatoon home with other activities such as Tile glazing, making an antique mirror, or even traditional customs (depended on date of the tour) such as breaking fiery clay jars on roof (آتش روی بوم کردن)

 Day 4,

After breakfast we take car to visit historical sites around the city, including

-          Qanat of Zarch: the world's longest Qanat (subterranean) which is registered on Iran UNESCO World Heritage Sites under the name of The Persian Qanats. 

-          Zoroastrian village of Cham

-           Tower Of Silence: Zoroastrian Grave yard.

 At the end we come back to Yazd to end the tour.

Passports and Visas

Passports should be valid for at least six months after your departure from the country. Please do not bring an almost full or almost expired passport. Arrival visa is available for many nationalities but not all of them. Contact me to check your conditions.
