Normandy Apartments Building (Wukang Mansion)

The Normandy Apartment building is one of the masterpieces of the legendary Hungarian-Slovak architect László Hudec. For almost three decades (1918-1945) he was one of Shanghai’s master architects who worked in Shanghai a hundred years ago. The eight-story building is in the French Renaissance style and is the oldest veranda-style apartment building in Shanghai.
