The hall of Supreme Harmony Ⅵ

Opposite Jialiang is the stone-made sundial, a time clock in ancient times. It symbolized the emperor had the standards of time measurement that was just and aboveboard in judging men and affairs.

The courtyard below is the courtyard of the Supreme Harmony Hall. It's 30,000 square meters in area. There are neither trees or grass on the spacious and tranquil courtyard, making it appear overwhelmingly solemn.

In the center is the imperial road flanked by brick-paved roads on two sides. The bricks were laid seven layers lengthwise and eight layers crosswise, making up 15 layers in all to prevent people from tunneling their way into the palace.
