About Sinan Mansions

Sinan Mansions is a redeveloped residential complex in Shanghai’s Jing’an District. It is commonly known as a hip area comprising a host of bars and cafes as well as some of the city's most luxurious residences. Originally built in 1920, there are over 50 garden-style homes, in which some of the city’s most famous residents have lived. With the new attention on the renovated complex, there is a flourishing arts scene. Each spring a series of performances occurs throughout and provides a new and dynamic way to experience modern architecture. Sinan Mansions has become one of Shanghai's most outstanding historical building preservation and protection projects, combining humanities, fashion, and historical heritage.
