Hengshan Moller Villa Hotel is a villa hotel originally built in 1936. The exterior is a charming three-story structure designed to resemble a fairy tale Norwegian castle. The interior is luxurious, exquisite, and primarily European, with distinctive Chinese elements incorporated throughout. The hotel entrance and hallways are all paneled with detailed carved scenes. The arched interior dome is colored with stained glass which, when the sun's rays shine through it, illuminates the room in a dazzling array of color. The villa has been transformed into a modern hotel in Shanghai’s beautiful Former French Concession, perfect for a relaxing afternoon tea. It is also a fantastic wedding venue.
