About Shanghai Botanical Garden

Shanghai Botanical Garden is a large botanic garden in Shanghai’s Xuhui District near Shanghai South Railway Station. The garden has a diverse collection of Chinese plants, including 3,500 species of regional flora from the Middle and Lower Yangtze River area. There is also a large greenhouse featuring many species native to tropical climates. Fun for the whole family, Shanghai Botanical Garden has an amusement area for kids and plenty of walking paths and grassy meadows. It is a great place to stroll or relax while enjoying nature’s variety.
